You belong to me

Alright Malaysia! Was so proud seeing the gal team from Malaysia winning the Amazing Race finale. These girls fought a nail-bitting race right to the end. They worked so well together, had brains, gritty, tough; you name it, they had it all to win. I remembered an episode where they were lagging behind in a challenge. The challenge required you to paste cow dung onto walls. Joe Jer, the fatter girl, literally punished the walls with shit! And then there was that food challenge and again Joe Jer ate everything pretty easily from what I observed while the other bimbos were struggling like hell - vomitting, crying. Sigh, pathetic. Zabrina did her part too of course. I just can't really remember much, although she was very focused if I may say. Their who-cares-bout-makeup/ looking-good-in-front-of-the-camera certainly earned them the top prize. To be honest, I thought Joe Jer and Zabrina were one of the not-so-good-looking girls in the show unlike the hotter girls like Syeon, the Filipino and Singaporean team. I guess this just shows that bimbos are just,well...bimbos. So congrats Joe Jer and Zabrina for winning the Amazing Race Asia.

For those who watches American Idol, that old man was pretty admirable wasn't he? 64 year old Sherman auditioned for AI just because he promised his wife so. And get this - his wife passed away 2 days before the audition. A silly promise I would say but I think Sherman wanted to do something extraordinary to show his wife how much he loves her after many years of marriage and despite her illness.
He actually did pretty okay in the audition and is nevertheless better than most of the idiots who think they can sing but can bloody well not. He sang "You belong to me", an old classic. For those who don't know the song, Jason Wade of Lifehouse actually did a version of it, singing it on the soundtrack of Shrek 1. Remember the scene where Shrek and Princess Fiona were eating weed rats beside the fire with the Kingdom of Duloc showing in the background. Yep, that's the one. Such a simple and sweet song. Wished I could sing it to someone. =)
