Best Chinese New Year ever
I envy those who are close to their extended family especially their cousins. I only see my cousins once a year and on my mom's side, my cousins are just way too young. That is why I always find CNY lousy and boring. But I do look forward to some little things (aside from money) like the food (I love yee sang) and lion dances. Yes, lion dances. I remember being afraid of those 'lions' when I was a kid at first. But then one fine sunny day, Dad decided to take me around town in Penang to see those 'lions' visiting shop lots. I'm telling you, Penang is just brimming with lion dances on CNY. To see those realistic cat-like movements, blinking eyes and flapping ears, the noisy clashing cymbals and the heart-thumping drum beats just interests me.

Okay so CNY was boring for me as usual. Heck, even the annual NBA All-Star Game that I was looking forward to, suck. Why did so many stars had to be injured at the same time? Some lame excuse to gamble in Las Vegas I think. Anyway, an eventful weekend just made my CNY the best ever. I'm on cloud nine. =)
