My day today on friday
I knew it wasn't my day or shall I say, Malaysia's day too when I woke up this morning to dress myself before going to college. Oh by the way, I love badminton! Me being a badminton fan together with my dad, was anticipating the match in the evening. Heck, I even skipped lecture to make it home in time to catch it. Anyway back to my bad karma in the morning. I broke my zipper while trying to zip up my pants. I know its pretty silly but a thought came to my mind right after it happened saying its not going to be exactly a good day. First, my group's firm in this business game didn't turn out so well. I found out that we were running out of funds. Second, I spent lousy money on lousy chicken chop for lunch. Third, I think I just screwed up my class quiz today. Fourth, my already huge workload for the weekend increased further. Time to be serious. Fifth, Malaysia lost to Denmark in the Thomas Cup semifinal.
Despite the un-perfect happenings today, there's still room for some positive thinking. So lets see, what are the positive things that happened today? First, my group isn't exactly the worst group and we're still making profit (hopefully it'll last!). Second, I calculated my individual assessment for one of my subjects and I have to say that I'm on course to passing the subject. Third, I'm happy to be working together with my marketing group members even though we aren't exactly hardworking...haha! Fourth, I had a great time watching the Thomas Cup with my dad. Screaming in excitement and criticizing each player's mistakes (like we can play so well lah) can be quite enjoying. Paul, now you know my dad acts like a kid at home right? Haha! Anyway to end this blog, kudos to the Malaysian team for trying hard despite losing and to the first doubles team, Koo Kien Keat and Chan Chong Ming; it was really exciting watching them beat the damn Danish All-England champions. Also, I say "bullshit!" to the Indian umpire who just loves the color red and yellow and has a liking of flashing them to the world whenever he gets a chance to.
Have a nice day people. =)
