Okay I better say something nice or she'll sue me for defamation. Kimmy is a really nice girl and I'm speaking from my heart. I really really appreciate the time when she treated me to Victoria's Station and the stuff she buys for me and my brothers (especially Jared). If anyone knows a nice single man contact me! =) We love you Kimmy!

A tiring Saturday...a sleepy Sunday...

Classes commence again after a week's break. I told myself I have to enjoy my weekend as much as possible. So here's how my weekend went...
-
Saturday. I woke up for 6 a.m. prayer meeting 'cos I had worship practice later on. Worship practice ended early so I hopped over to Aunty Tyan Min's house to help prepare for the barbeque that night. I'm proud to say that I peeled potatoes for the very first time that day. Nearly sliced my fingers 3 times but I learned fast. After peeling and mashing, Hoey Theen and Mel came over to my place to eat my grandma's lemak laksa. I love laksa so I had 2 large bowls. Regretted soon after when my stomach started to ache like crazy for eating too much.
Afternoon came and time to go to youth meeting. The topic that day was Finding the Right Spouse. BGR (Boy Girl Relationship) in other words. The crowd was big for that kind of topic as usual. I tried hard to pay attention because I only slept for 3 hours the night before. The talk was good nonetheless. Even though I've read books and listened to countless of sermons on this topic, there's always something for me to learn. Hope my next relationship would be a blessed one.
Barbeque. Met my fairy godmother's (Hoey Theen) colleagues, although I've forgotten all their names already except Phoebe because she look like my accounts tuition teacher when I was form 4. Barbeque was good even though I felt underage around a majority of working young adults. We played a couple games. Let me just say that I hate balloons...the big ones especially. We played this game where we had to blow balloons until they burst. One dude's balloon exploded just beside me, sending a spray of saliva into the air. Ewww...how he blow balloon wan. We also sang some songs along with some childish actions. Its fun seeing adults acting like kids.
-
Sunday. Struggled to wake up in the morning. Was supposed to wear stripes to church as according to plan. Decided to go all out but got disappointed when I saw Uncle Wai Hin and Shanker wearing stripes that had to be magnified to see. Belot man. Wore my new tie which Hoey Theen gave for my birthday. Felt funny when I saw Uncle Sai Cheok wearing the same tie. Haha. I still love the tie nevertheless.
Didn't manage to eat breakfast because I was late which made me extra sleepy onstage. Goodness, my guitar felt as heavy as my eyelids. Couldn't wait to get home and rest after church.
Went to play badminton in the evening. Lost to the kids as usual. Could have won if not for my one month lay-off. Haha, the excuses that I can come up with. Watched a really cool badminton game between Ryan and Uncle Mike. Uncle Mike won the game hands down. Found it uber cool the way he can play the shots with such precision and his stamina is just amazing. By the way, Ryan is in his 20s and Uncle Mike is in his 50s. Go Uncle Mike!
-
Sigh. Wished my hols could be longer. Oh well, life goes on. Life as a student starts again on Monday.

Playground Bimbo

Yes people. She literally came, saw and conquered. Playground Bimbo took to the slides like a...well...bimbo. As the kids ran away frightened (actually they just thought the bimbo was weird), we managed to snap some shots. We didn't manage to capture her while she was sliding (sorry guys) but anyway here are some pics of her posing as usual.
Me teaching Hoey Theen how to iGallop.
I went home with a sore butt that day.

Waiting for a calling from the mothership.

I'm so so sick of having this dry, irritating cough already. My mom doesn't allow me to eat my favourite fried bananas and prawn fritters. Even Aunty Coco didn't allow me to eat ice-cream today. Darn. I hope I recover in time for the bbq.
My exams are over and I have a week off from college. It's not really a break though. I still have assignments to complete. Sigh. Feeling so lazy at the moment. I'm waiting for a calling from the mothership. =)

Aku sepatutnya ulangkaji tetapi...

Okay. My initial plan was to go to the CSM (Chairman Singers Musicians) meeting and then go home right after it ends and revise a little bit since exam's starting on Monday. Well, so much for studying. I decided to go to basketball (feeling the good old days again) and also because I haven't seen Cae Me for quite some time and needed to pass her overdue birthday present.
-
The basketball court looked pretty cool at night with the spotlights. I was a bit disappointed with the size of the rim and board because it wasn't regulation size and also I found it hard to shoot at such a small rim (shooting's my specialty...haha). But anyway its still a real blessing to have a basketball court. Playing with the dudes today was hilarious! I mean playing with dudes who play basketball for the first time like Emerson and Samuel was really something different. You actually see a bunch of 20-something year olds running around like kindy kids. Emerson got confused with football and buat gaya header while Samuel defended by flying around like an ayam. Real funny I tell you! Two persons impressed me with their own skills today and they are Wong Kah Mun and Kom Jia Chui. Okay so maybe its unfair of me to label cell leaders as lame people who can't play sports but those two weren't bad at all. Jia Chui can do a lay up, something most girls I know can't do, and Kah Mun scored the most points in the team. Not bad at all, not bad at all.
-
I'm coughing like mad now. Shouldn't have ate that chilli crab. Whatever...the chilli crab was real good! Me, Ryan and Cae Me shared 2 crabs and had sweet bread to dip in the sauce. My throat is going crazy now but it was worth it. Haha.
Leonard talked to me over supper about how he wants to start a band in church. I'm not much of an electric guitarist but it was a cool idea. However it would be difficult practicing and jamming together unless we can use the church's facilities. I'm into Christian rock music nowadays and definitely want to improve. Anyway we'll see how the band idea goes. We still need a drummer.
-
Gonna start studying seriously tomorrow. Wish me luck people. =)
